- Description:
- Mr. Tom J. Dennison, Chairman of the Kaw Indian Tribal Council, wrote to Congressman Page Belcher requesting an appointment with the Secretary of the Interior regarding a survey on the status of Kaw Indian Half Breed Reserve Lands in Kansas. Congressman Belcher forwarded the request to the Department of the Interior, which informed that the matter was being reviewed by their Solicitor's Office and suggested that Mr. Dennison arrange for an appointment with their attorneys. Congressman Belcher assured Mr. Dennison that he was happy to assist further if needed.
