- The Inter-Tribal Council of the Five Civilized Tribes in Muskogee, Oklahoma voted to support a proposed contract between the Bureau of Indian Affairs and the Oklahoma Agricultural and Mechanical College for extension activities. They approved the resolution with the condition that if the services provided are not successful in improving extension services for the tribes, they reserve the right to withdraw their support after a year.
