- Miss Carol Soatikee received a letter from Page Belcher, a Member of Congress, regarding an investigation into the administration of Concho School. The Bureau of Indian Affairs assured confidentiality for employees during the investigation. Belcher also requested a member of the Civil Service Commission to be present at the meetings. The employees of the school requested a postponement of the investigation and clarification on the dates and location of the meeting. The investigation was scheduled for July 29 and 30, conducted by a committee from the Area Office and Muskogee Office.
