- Description:
- Mrs. Margaret Sands wrote to U.S. Senator Dewey Bartlett regarding the distribution of funds awarded to the Creek Indians by the Indian Claims Commission. She enclosed a petition signed by a group of Creek Indian citizens who do not agree with Chief Claude Cox's plan for the funds and are requesting that the money be distributed per capita.
