- Description:
- The letter is a response to a request for information regarding the sale of unallotted coal and asphalt lands owned by the Choctaw and Chickasaw Nations. The lands were purchased by the Government for $8,500,000, with payments to be made to enrolled members and their heirs. The exact amount of the payments is estimated to be around $350 per share.
