- Mr. Emmit Sockey sent a postal card with his information to Carl Albert regarding the sale of coal and asphalt lands for the Choctaw and Chickasaw tribes. Carl Albert acknowledged receipt of the information and suggested that Mr. Sockey send it to the Five Civilized Tribes Agency in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He also offered his assistance in the future.
