- Roger Ernst, from the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Interior, left a note for Mr. Albert on October 22, 1958, stating that he had spoken to Congressman Edmondson on the phone. Edmondson was supposed to call Mr. Albert to discuss their conversation. If Mr. Albert had not heard from Edmondson, Ernst asked him to call collect so that he could provide further explanation.
