- In the letter dated October 22, 1952, Carl Albert, a Congressman from Oklahoma, thanks Principal Chief Harry J. W. Belvin for his letters and agrees with a suggestion made by Mr. Semple. Albert advises caution in launching a wholesale attack on the Area Office and suggests waiting until all necessary information is gathered. He also expresses willingness to intervene on behalf of Susan C. Whittle with the Muskogee Office. Albert is hopeful that other Congressmen, particularly Ed Edmondson, will be present at the upcoming meeting.
