- Harold E. Cooper, Assistant Scoutmaster of Troop 83 in Hugo, Oklahoma, wrote to Honorable Carl Albert requesting maps for the Scouts. Carl Albert ordered the maps from the Geological Survey and had them sent to Cooper. Albert offered further assistance if needed. Cooper received the maps and thanked Albert for his help.
