- Mrs. Carl Thomas from McAlester, Oklahoma wrote to Congressman Carl Albert requesting a booklet on goldfish and their care. Congressman Albert contacted the Interior Department who sent a leaflet on goldfish care to Mrs. Thomas. Congressman Albert enclosed the leaflet in a letter to Mrs. Thomas, expressing his pleasure in serving her.
