![["The Indian Action Team Program was initiated by the Bureau of Indian Affairs in 1974 to provide skills training and support tribal businesses on reservations. The program is designed to help tribes develop capabilities and management skills, with a focus on job training and development. The program is administered through Buy-Indian contracting, with tribes responsible for meeting program objectives.
