She received a positive response from Member of Congress Page Belcher, who informed her that the Agent had been restored. Belcher also provided information regarding the Indian Home Economics program and explained the reduction in the Extension program due to funding limitations. The document from the Bureau of Indian Affairs highlighted the importance of housing programs but assured that the need for Extension services to Indian people had not been reduced.
