The Bureau checked records and found that her grandmother was not listed as a member of the Absentee Shawnee Tribe but was listed on the 1394 Sac and Fox roll. The Bureau confirmed that Mrs. Megehee's children are eligible for educational assistance based on their Indian blood quantum.
