The Chickasaw Housing Authority had pulled back a loan and committed to other towns, leaving only 45 units in Ardmore, Marietta, and Creek. The Housing Authority of Chickasaw Nations of Oklahoma received approval for a project involving the construction of 99 Low Rent units in Ardmore and Marietta and 61 Mutual Help units in Johnston County.
