One bill calls for the distribution of $1,346,000 to be divided between the Creek Indians of Oklahoma and those east of the Mississippi River, while the other bill provides $450,000 to the Creek Nation of Oklahoma for approved purposes. The funds are to pay Creek claims from 19th Century treaties with the federal government.
