A lawsuit was filed against her in 1959 regarding this land, which was part of a larger parcel that had been sold to another individual. Mrs. Cumsey was unable to defend herself in court due to health issues and financial constraints. The Indian Bureau advised that the land in question was not taxable and did not belong to her.
