![["William Henry Murray was born in Texas and became a lawyer in Oklahoma, where he also served as a Governor. He played a significant role in the drafting of Oklahoma's constitution and was known for his strong leadership and enforcement of tax laws. Murray also served as a Congressman and later founded a colony in Bolivia before returning to Oklahoma and becoming Governor in 1931. During his term, he focused on reducing taxes and state expenditure, and called out the Oklahoma Militia to enforce his orders.
