The Bureau of Indian Affairs examined records but could not find information on Mrs. Dotson's father. Enrollment rolls for the tribes were closed in 1907, and no changes can be made. ![["The Methodist Church is holding regional consultations on their work among Indians in Oklahoma, Kansas, and Texas. They are seeking counsel from Indian leadership on how to best serve the total life of Indians. The meetings will include representatives from 124 Methodist Indian churches and the National Division of the Board of Missions. The purpose of the consultations is to discuss how the Methodist Church can better serve the Indian community. They are inviting representatives from the organization Oklahomans for Indian Opportunity to attend the meetings.
